GFSI - BRCGS
The GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) was created by food industry leaders to reduce food safety risks. Since GFSI is not a scheme in itself, Biscuits Leclerc Ltd has chosen the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety as the recognized scheme for third-party audits. Each Biscuits Leclerc Ltd plant holds BRCGS certification, a guarantee of food safety.
organic (QAI)
Some of our plants are certified to produce organic products, guaranteeing that the food is grown and processed without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and complies with organic standards specific to the country of destination. QAI is the organic certification body chosen by Leclerc.
Peanut free
Leclerc offers peanut-free products thanks to a rigorous control program in certain plants. This program is monitored annually through BRCGS audits. The logo used here is Leclerc's own logo.
BRCGS GLUTEN Free
Some Leclerc plants are certified to manufacture gluten-free products. BRCGS’ Global Standard Gluten-Free guarantees that the product contains less than 20 ppm of gluten, as required by current legislation. The trademark is specific to the country of sale.
Sustainable Palm oil
Leclerc's RSPO MB (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil - Mass Balance) certification guarantees that the palm oil used in our products is produced in a transparent, legally compliant and economically viable manner, using best industry practices and assuming environmental and social responsibilities.

Sustainable cocoa
Leclerc is part of the Rainforest Alliance, which supports the sustainable production of ingredients for certain products containing cocoa derivatives. Sourcing certified cocoa, preserving the integrity, ensuring traceability, keeping compliant records and having finished product packaging approved are key steps on our journey towards sustainability.
kasher
Leclerc offers some Kosher-certified products. Kosher certification guarantees that food complies with Jewish law. Our products are certified by OK Kosher, with regular supervision by a rabbi and a detailed annual inspection. The D on the logo indicates that the products are Dairy grade.
